Here on Swings and Arrows, we usually leave the recipe-ing to Cathleen because she basically covers all things new, delicious, healthy, and (very occasionally) disgusting in one fell swoop. But I'm breaking out with a recipe that I cannot keep to myself. Yesterday, I made...

NUTELLA!
I know, right? |
It is amazing and I want everyone to be a part of it. Plus, there is a HUGE need on the interwebs for more shots of homemade goods in earth-friendly yet still adorable re-purposed jam jars, don't you think?
Anyway, this nutella is made with almonds and dark chocolate. I roasted almonds and then blitzed them into almond butter in my food processor. Then I added a little sugar, vanilla, and salt and pureed again. Next, I poured in chocolate melted with butter (I like my butters to be extra buttery) and blended one more time. And we all went berserk over it. Next time I might try it with cashews. And by next time, I mean this afternoon. Because that jar pictured above is already almost empty.
Have a sweet weekend, Friends!
