Wallpaper Dreaming

I'm a big fan of wallpaper. Since it's an expensive purchase I haven't been able to put any up in our house. However I am obsessed and will spend any amount on this new Brunschwig & Fils wallpaper. It strokes my Francophile side BIG TIME!

Battle of Valmy 1792

I'm picturing it up in my son's room which would then be transformed into the perfect little gentleman's space (PS- my dear son is no gentlemen, trust me I ate dinner with him tonight). My friend who's a designer is pricing it out for me. I'll keep you posted.

Happy Thursday!

Taylor & Ng

I'm in love with these Taylor & Ng animal mugs. Adorable illustrations are accompanied by the animals name written in French.

These can be found on eBay if you type in Taylor & Ng.

This or That?

This or that?

Something I randomly find myself pondering quite often is which kind of garden do I prefer more: a wild and wooly English garden or a tamed and geometric French garden?

After thinking about this for a few too many years I think I've decided I prefer a French-like garden in the front of the house and a tamer English-like garden in the back.

So what do you think? What is your garden style?

Meet me back here tomorrow for my Friday round-up!

New Baby in the Family!

I have a new baby to introduce!

Yep, there she is, my new living room sofa. Found and bought off Craigslist for $700.

It's down-filled and upholstered in high-quality linen.

When I first saw it I was planning on reupholstering it right away, but when I saw it in person, I realized the fabric was in better condition than the owner's picture showed (score!!) so I'm going to keep it until I destroy it by lying all over it all day long.

What do you think of my badass find?
