I spotted these bathing beauties in the "California Design, 1930-1965: Living in a Modern Way" exhibition at LACMA during our visit last Thanksgiving and I haven't been able to shake them since. Designed by Mary Ann DeWeese in 1949, these His and Hers suits feature bright oversized lobsters that totally pop on that white background. Lobsters—those big, lovely cockroaches of the sea—just might become my new obsession.
