Charles Eames, mid-century architect, designer, filmmaker and more, created the House of Cards deck of cards in 1952.
The deck consists of 32 interlocking cards with images of the "good stuff" as Eames himself said. The "good stuff" is pictures, "familiar and nostalgic objects from the animal, mineral and vegetable kingdoms" as well as images of inspiring textiles and patterns from around the world.
