I Hate Pants!

I hate pants... I mean I really, really, hate pants. I rarely wear them to work and I can remember being as young as Kindergarten and opting to wear a smocked party dress to field day over a pair of pants. That being said I have found a pair of pants that I don't just like, I actually love them.

The Andie Chino from J.Crew. These pants are awesome! A co-teacher at work had them and then I went out like a loser and bought the exact same pair in the same color and then wore them in right away. I have them in two colors, the fatigue and navy. They are comfy, soft, and fit great! I'm really short, 5'2", so I got the petits in a waist size one up from my usual size and the fit is perfect! So if you need a good work pant, get these!

Another item I've had so covetous thoughts about is this clutch from Vineyard Vines. 

I have absolutely no need for a clutch as I cram so much crap in my purse and I never go out. Buuuut, if you do need a clutch get this one! The preppy vibe paired with the gorgeous graphic puts me in the best mood.

Let's Talk About Jeans

I hate jeans. Hate, hate, hate jeans! I find them stiff and uncomfortable. This is not a new occurrence, I have always hated jeans. For the most part I have always worn whatever "other" pant has been in style ie leggings or chinos. However sometimes you just gotta wear jeans! I have a ton of shirts that are too short to wear with leggings and that would just look best paired with a great jean.

I received an email in the mail from Madewell - owned by J.Crew (by the way, I did not know that until like a month ago). They say they have created an awesome comfortable jean and now I'm wondering... should I drop the $120 to try their jeans?

Please note, I don't look anything like this in jeans. Add about 20 lbs and a lot more "Mom" and you've got me.

So readers....thoughts? Have you tried Madewell's jeans before?

This is a great shirt. Brooks Brothers has their finger on the button when it comes to making great men's clothing. 

And when they say non-iron, they mean it. Pull it out of the dryer and you're ready to go. I highly recommend the slim fit too. My husband is not "slim" or into metrosexual clothing, but this shirt makes him look fit and tailored. 

Also please do me a favor and only buy long-sleeved dress shirts. The only person who is allowed to have short-sleeved dress shirts is my OBGYN and that's out of practicality.
